PMET 912 is a solid cobalt 12 wire. PMET 912 has excellent resistance to many forms of chemical and mechanical degradation over a wide temperature range. PMET 912 attributes are its anti-galling properties, abrasion and corrosion resistance, and oxidation resistance up to its melting range. It can be applied to all weldable steels, including stainless steels.

Characteristics and Composition
PMET 913 is a high carbon cobalt based version of cobalt alloy 12 that has been forged into small diameter wire using Deloro Stellite’s patented hot extruded wire process. PMET 913 attributes are its anti-galling properties and increased abrasion resistance while maintaining similar properties to the alloy #12. It can be applied to all weldable steels, including stainless steels.
