Powder Production
Deloro Stellite produces world class metallic powders that are used for welding, spraying, and other hard facing techniques. Our gas atomizing equipment is state of the art and can atomize most iron based, nickel based, and cobalt based. Gas atomization produces the highest quality metallic powders. Deloro Stellite regularly melts hundreds of alloys for our customers.
These alloy powders are then sized with the some of the newest sifting equipment on the market providing accuracy and speed on the one of the most important markers of quality of metallic powders. You can be assured that you will get powders sized exactly for your application.
The sized powder is then placed through our automatic weighing and packaging line and shipped out to our customers. Packaging is done in convenient bottles or pails (depending on order amount).
Wire Production
Deloro Stellite produces metal cored cobalt alloy wires. All of our wires start quality cobalt metal strip. That strip is forged into a tube. At the same time as forging, a carefully made powder mixture is place inside the wire that completes the formula for an alloy. The wire is then annealed and then spooled onto spools that can be used with most wire feeding welders or wire feeding equipment.
Rod Production
Deloro Stellite is part of an elite class that make hardfacing alloy rods in the USA. All of our rods start as carefully formulated charge in one of our inert gas shielded casting furnaces. After the chemistry of the melt is verified, the rod is continuously casted into one of many common diameters. The continuous casted rod is cut, annealed, and packaged. Rods are in a diameter and length convenient for welders.
Equipment
Our equipment building department produces automatic welders and high velocity oxy-fuel spray systems. Deloro Stellite equipment group is UL certified for producing electrical panels for our equipment. All of our equipment is assembled, tested, and shipped from our Goshen, Indiana plant. We support all of our machines with spares and service. We keep all high volume consumables in stock for quick shipment when our customers need it most.
